This is a Boston Red Sox pennant sold at Fenway park.
the pennant says world champs on it. I know the st. louis cardinals won the 67 series in 7 games.
any info on why this pennant says world champs??
    Thanks for looking

It is most likely that this item was produced by the Red Sox for sale only if they won the '67 World Series, or on an assumption that they would win the World Series. Once St. Louis won game 7 by a score of 7-2 on the Bob Gibson complete game, the Red Sox would have not wanted this type of item to be sold to the public, and most of them would have probably been destroyed.

Nice! that could prob go for some money to the right person, i would frame it and display it. i got a few pennants too :)

Well, my first response is “it’s worth whatever someone will pay for it.” However, I know that’s not what you want to hear because it should have been destroyed. Try a Red Sox auction...
