I'm posting this because this is one of but a number of situations I have with my "treasures." I found this lovely cased glass vase at an estate sale in perfect condition. It is very heavy and was very well made. I didn't pay much at all for it. The bottom has a paper label of "Malaga, Spain, 1971." I'm guessing this was a vase bought on a trip decades ago. However, what do I now do with it that I have caused a hairline crack from top to bottom and a couple of chips on the top rim? What would you do?
well poire i have damaged pieces & have felt to dispose of yet i did not decades upon decades i still have the pieces
plus the story & label
i would say my friend keep if you have the space
cracks can travel but generally in reality they dont in most cases in me umble opinion
its an emotional one & a lovely cased documented piece
all the very best malkey xxxx
nearly time for me bed in the sky 2.44am
That is some very good advice, Malkey. The quality and the personal label have been the things preventing me from throwing it out. I think I'll keep it for awhile longer.
And, thanks for the love, Malkey!
Thanks for the loves fortapache, Jenni, Tassie, vetraio50, and Scott!!
Happy 4th Mary, enjoy the day
