Myrtle-wood Duck Carving from North Bend, Oregon.

Myrtle-wood = Umbellularia californica - aka: California Bay Laurel. very nice, vintage carving. i had no idea that the bay laurel wood looks almost as fine as mahogany. Old sticker on the bottom too. nice piece!
