Hello someone please help me identify this lamp! it’s very similar to a Carl Falkenstein Lamp But it is hard for me to tell! in the picture the feet look black but they appear to be brass underneath! it looks like they were painted over because in the picture you can see the paint chips and underneath is brass. the globe is pearl irredescent glass with 3D brass vines and blue and white cameos. Please let me know anything you can about the lamp!!! Anything will help! I’m trying to restore it!
This probably also had glass prism drops hanging from the holes which are easy to get. Also probably from the early 1970's and a lot of them had initials and year made on the lamp. A lot of them at that time had matching hanging lamps from the ceiling and lights on the bottom glass with a metal diffuser to make the light glow beautifully. There were many companies making these lamps so it was hard to tell if even a falkenstein or not. Probably U.S. and part of an exploding industry of lamp companies.
Thankyou! There is no date or any manufacturer name.. although it could be underneath the black paint someone used to cover the brass. Will update once I remove if I find any marking on it. Thankyou for the help!
Sorry to say, most are unmarked, not marked, as to manufacturer and date. I wrote wrong, if you looked at the collection and click on to that I have several categories of lamps I would put this in.
