Unsure of the history in relation to S & M Lamp Co. The shades give a model number of SRLM-200 but I can't locate anything online about them. Does anyone have any ideas?

They are out of a 95 year old industrial shop.

Nice colour for industrial lights. Welcome to CW. Are you a machinest? Your doppelganger works with me.

I am a machinist and I have a twin?! And thank you, glad to be here. Especially if I can figure out what these are.

I think they were located in La California and closed in 1953. Started in 1906. This information was on LA PD site. Police cars were equipped with spotlights made by the S&M lamp Co.La California.

I show they were in business until ‘64 and was located at 118 W. 36th st in Los Angeles. If I had to gues, since S&M was big into just into spotlight, that they didn’t produce these enamel lights but very likely got them from Smoot-Holman in L.A. and put their tag on them.
Btw, the color is Blue Gray, although I always thought they looked just gray. Uncommon but not unheard of. Any interest in selling any?
      Regards, Matt
