This Is an Amy Sandheim Celtic design silver caddy spoon, with a hand hammered bowl. I didn’t realize until watching a documentary how time consuming it is to hand hammer a bowl. The spoon has a London hallmark and was made in 1928.
The Scottish maker Alexander Ritcher who was based on the Scottish island Iona, also used this design it was very popular with the Art and Craft movement.
This spoon is a great addition to my spoon collection which as spoons from both Amy Sandheim and Bernard Instone.
Many thanks for looking
