    This lovely vase stands about 15 " y'all and has a twist up the shaft. The bottom is simular to an elephants foot with big round knobby toes that intertwine clear with green.

      These are known as elephant foots vases TIsweat!
      By the look of this one I would say 1970s Japan, although these were made in a number of places.
