I now have a pair of these Bernard Instone caddy spoons this one was made in 1928.
On the third photo I’ve put the pair of them together, as you can see the right sided spoon as tarnished. I know some people like their silver to be pristine while other people prefer their silver to be tarnished. I would love to know your thoughts on this.
Many thanks for looking.
I'm really loving your spoons!! If they were mine, I'd leave them as is. But, that's just my personal preference.
I very handsome duo Jean.
I am happy to have tarnish, but really dark stains I think need a bit of cleaning, just with a silver cloth. I think these would not be so attractive if they were gleaming silver.
Love these Jean......a very light rub with a silver cloth is what I would do:-)
Agree with all above for silver cloth!
And... Marvelous to have a pair!!!
Bravo :-)
Thank you Scott, for loving these spoons.
Hello Karen, yes I have to agree with you, the newest one in my personal opinion is to gleaning. As always thanks for your comment.
