This Dutch Bible was printed in 1915. Title page:
UITGEGEVEN DOOR HET
NEDERLANDSCH BIJBELLGENOOTSCHAP
Heerengracht 366
AMSTERDAM
1915
What caught my attention with this Bible was the handwritten record of births.
The 2nd & 4th photos above is, (the best I can figure out), the record of the death of the owner of this Bible.
G. W. Heitbrink who passed on April 10 year 1917.
I googled G. W. Heitbrink and the first thing that popped up was the Find A Grave Memorial: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/17725528/g._w.-hietbrink
G. W. Hietbrink
Birth: 1839
Death: 1917 (aged 77-78)
Burial: Holland Cemetery, Lancaster County, Nebraska, USA
(The first name listed of births in the BIJBEL is: 10 April Garret Willem Heitbrink 1839.)
The Find A Grave website also list under Family Members:
Spouse: Berendina Heitbrink 1842-1907
(The second name listed of births in the BIJBEL is: 6 Feb. Berendina Leeferdink 1842).
With these two listed first, leads me to believe this BIJBEL was the property of G.W.
The list of 7 names on that page ends with 24 July Berend Willem Heitbrink 1881.
The page preceding the title page list 11 names.
The first is: 13 July Robbert Julius Ernest Fischer 1867
Second is: 30 Oct. Jania Gezrena Hietbrink 1872 (also is listed #6 on the first list)
This would be G. W.'s daughter with her husband Robbert, listed above her.
The rest of the names (9) listed are with the surname Fischer, beginning 12 July 1872 & ending with 15 March 1914.
Robbert & Jania had a large family if these 9 were their children.
Maybe someday I will be able to locate a descendant and return this family BIJBEL.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post,
Dave

pw-collector, I love genealogy, I can eat of that all day, the fact that you have some name to start with it’s great, with little more work, I believe you can find some relative of this family still alive today.
I remember 6 month ago I found big one at the Salvation Army from 1813, same thing all the family member are inscribed inside.
You just gave me some momentum’s to follow all my post on my own family, already started year ago, but I stop after few email from Users that not appreciate and they believe this is just BS.
I will proceed in a different way this time.
Great detective job, always enjoy your posts.
Alan, I have done little genealogy research, my father did all that on my family, but I am enjoying the little research on this one.
