This vase turned up with a few other Japanese vases and I haven't yet confirmed who made it. Fukuoka FTG is my guess at present.
It has a white inner, with orange, yellow, teal and grey glass over it, and then red pulled from the base. The last layer is a thin clear case, and the vase itself is surprisingly light for a Japanese vase.
It has some features of Czech glass I guess, but the colours and spatter style and shape seem very Japanese to me.
    It's a great piece.

Reminds me of Czech spatter glass too, it has a touch of the Tango palette about it...

Karen this is just an exquisite vase, I really love that base red-orange color, then the multitude of spatter strokes going upward, a lovely design & hope you will fill it with pretty garden flowers

IL, yeah I can see the tango relationship. I am a bit (!) of a colour hound so these bright colours tick my boxes. Thanks for the love and comment.

I'll take your word on the Ruckl Scott, it's not within my area of knowledge. Anyways, I'm glad you liked it, so thanks!

Ivonne it's interesting how each culture absorbs and uses styles and adapts them for themselves. Crossover is often a good thing. Thanks for your love and comment.
