Best I can tell from online searching is this is a vintage bridal cuff. It's a find amongst other items including the Sterling Silver lorgnette magnifying glasses shown and a silver dime bracelet, (dimes from the 1940's)
There's no markings on the bracelet that I can find. I did show it to a couple others. One who sells Filigree bracelets said the lock was very interesting but didn't recognize it.
The detail of the Filigree as you can see is very, very fine through out.
Lesson learned was in dipping it to clean it. Big mistake. It left a whitish residue in all the crevices which on this piece, is going to be near impossible to remove, at least by hand rubbing. Though on the catch, a quick rubbing brought out the luster of the silver on the flat parts.
Measurements:
1 1/8" wide
6 3/4" from center to center of the lock barrel on the short side
7 1/4" from center to center of the lock barrel on the long side.
You know what I know I this point.
