I used to play with this all the time when I was a kid. It is battery operated and would drive, shake, engine lights up and smoke out of the radiator. It has a metal body and plastic undercarriage. It's about 12 inches long. I recently acquired it from my grandfather's estate. There aren't any markings. I was told it could be a revers t todler. I cannot find any information on this. Can anyone help?

It appears to be a Vintage 1960's Tin Lithographed Battery Operated Hot Rod Early Model Limousine Limo Toy Car by Alps, Japan. Red body with Gold detail and trim. Cream color roof with depicted wood luggage rack and silver plastic railing. Features stop and go action, vibrates, engine lights up and smokes, depicting an overheated boiling radiator.

      Pretty Cool!

WOW! Thank you so much for identifying it. I would have never found that. Although I don't recall it ever having that silhouette in the cab that is exactly what I have. Unfortunately, the underneath is pretty much trashed and not sure it works anymore. Do you know if any place that would be able to restore it? I'm in eastern Pennsylvania.

      You are welcome.
You can still find complete cars/box to parts cars on ebay or Etsy.
They show up once in a while.
      Good Luck! :)
