I purchased this beautiful Geisha that is intricately displayed in this gorgeous black lacquer case with a tassel. She has no markings or stamps for identifying characters on her anywhere and I've done some research finding she may have come from World War II as a gift to soldiers to come back home to their families however I really don't know her origin. I do know that I purchased her from an antique collector from an antique shop that was closing down and I was told that she would go for somewhere around 300 US Dollars however I did get her for a little less than that. She is absolutely gorgeous! Don't y'all agree?
