This medallion

So those of us who are treasure hunters are all bound to come across the occasional interesting oddity. This medallion is stamped University College NYU Interscholastic Debate Hall of Fame. Who knew there was such a thing as a debating Hall of Fame? NYU is a prestigious university, one of the oldest private universities in the United States, founded in 1831. I haven't been able to track down the history behind this medallion yet, but one thing I did find out, the name of the artist who designed the medallion, J. Sola, stamped on the face (photo #3), appears to have worked during the Art Nouveau era, so this medallion is probably fairly old. I hope you like seeing this and thanks for looking. :)
