Fredfinkle…
(1 item)
So I bought this cooler a couple years ago mostly for the aesthetics for pretty cheap at a flea market. I’ve always wanted a Coca-Cola cooler but never really wanted to shell out the cash to pick up a fully restored one. I tried doing some research on this cooler and came to a conclusion that it’s a Westinghouse jr but after closer examination I wasn’t able to find the markings that state what kind of cooler it is. And the more I look at other Westinghouse jrs the more I’m in doubt. For one the drainage plug looks to be in the wrong spot, there are no markings, and the lid doesn’t have the Coca-Cola logo on the bottom side. Is this just a poor restoration or is it something else all together. Any thoughts and comments are much appreciated.
Hard to be sure based on the images, but it looks right to me. These were made by Westinghouse and Cavalier Corp. Not all had the embossed inner lid. The restoration doesn't look bad, it's a nice piece. You need the cap catcher.

I have one. The manufacture plate should be under the ice chest right above where the cases are stored.
