    This is one of the earliest Phänomen Genres, ca. 1898-1899. The ground is rubin (ruby red), covered with combed threads of blue and silver in a feather pattern. PG 7501 was made in other colors, but this one is my favorite. This decor is drawn directly onto the paper pattern for PN I-7502, even though the production notes don't list this as a decor for this production number. Still, this and other examples exist, so you must believe in the glass over the incomplete documentation. :)
