    IronLace
    (930 items)

Flowers fade, but glass blooms eternally (unless it succumbs to carelessness).
Just a small selection of glass from my collection, including Kralik, Harrach, Thomas Webb & Sons, Richardsons, & Welz, plus others yet to be identified.

Great to see a post like this featuring several makers. I particularly like the Richardson tulips, the Harrach trellis vases and the Kralik thorn vases. Of course others, with different interests, will have different favourites.......

Much appreciated, sklo42...yes, there's a little of something for everyone. I felt this grouping was a succinct summation of my varied tastes in glass...

What a variety of shapes and colours is meant by Victorian glass!

Many thanks, artfoot! The hand as yet remains a mystery...I found it at a flea market long ago & I guess it was meant to be a ring holder. Despite having a large collection of hand vases & hand related items, I've never seen another like it & have no idea who made it...

Well said, Ivonne...Victorian art glass is wonderful diverse. The perfect reflection of an era of growth, experimentation, & discovery...

Beautiful and so much easier to care for than the real thing. I adore the tulip vases (another that's on my wish list:)

Many thanks, Vintagefran...I hope that you can find a tulip of your own...I believe there may be one on Etsy at the moment...they can be rather expensive I'm afraid. Wouldn't it be good to find one in an op shop/charity shop one day?
