    Hello Everyone.
    Good evening from Ontario.2018-04-23
Here we have a picture from my family photo collection, that my mother gave to me long time ago, for quite long i research about it, but I get no where, first in direct my effort to Lac Megantic, Quebec, the reason is very simple, the protective cover where the photo is store as the inscription Lac Megantic.
But after spending on the timeline of WW1 and look the event in this time frame in the area, nothing show up with lac Megantic, I even look the Building on the picture.
This event happen somewhere else, where, I HAVE NO CLUE anymore.
When you look at the picture, we can see on the right some Cars from the 1920-25, also someone look like want to do some speech in the center, this individual have a Black dress, lot of Civilian are present on the scene, two Union Jack flag are there, one on the House and the other one near the column in the center.

This could be an event celebrating the end of the War
I wish this picture can talk.

This picture is 9.50 inches by 7.50 inches.

    Many thanks for looking.

Appears to be a Military Awards Ceremony, of the WW1 time frame. I would pursue Military history of your family around this time, and see where that takes you. Good Luck!
