Anna Jalava, Autumn Scene, Oil on Masonite, Circa 1960-70

Hello Everyone.
Good Evening from Ontario.2018-04-23
I start to have a pretty good collection of the Jalava family, i post a few since i have my first one, i will post more soon, this one is a very nice Autumn scene by Anna-Liisa Jalava, sign her painting "ANNA", extremely colorful, impasto technique, that she master very well.
I recently found 2 painting from Paul Hyttinen.
This painting is frame at 23 inches by 31 inches, the Masonite board is 16 inches by 24 inches.

The Jalava family, a family of artists, arrived from Helsinki Finland in 1952 and included Mauri and Anna-Liisa Jalava, Mauri’s brother Erkki and his wife, also named Anna-Liisa, their mother Orvokki and Mauri’s brother-in-law, Paavo (Paul) Hyttinen.

Anna along with Erkki and Paul Hyttinen are listed Canadian artists and their works are represented by the National Gallery of Canada - Library and Archives / Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography.
