Exceptional late 1960's - early 1970's Authentic Philadelphia Hippie "Light My Fire" Embroidered Chambray Shirt. The psychedelic embroidered butterfly on the back can go to the front of the class. Add to the nice size a couple peace signs, "Peace" & "Love" and it is a stellar period textile by an unknown artist. Shirt itself is small - marked 14, perhaps to be worn by a girlfriend in an era when men's shirts were popular for the hippie young women. Such a variety of imagery, as a collector, this really has a lot going for it.
