These are continued from my previous post. I love the photo with the baby holding that antique bottle. Back then it was a flat-round style glass bottle for baby.
Also pictured... three men and their handle-bar mustaches in from of a Model-T..
Lot's more pics to show from this lot I inherited.

That little boy in the 1st photo looks a lot like young Prince George of England

I mean little George, the son of Prince William (Diana's boy) to clarify

It appears to be a former whiskey flask turned into a baby bottle. A true baby bottle of the time would have been a turtle nurser or an octagonal-base bottle.

They were called Nursing Bottles back then, I dug one up once and George Chopping wanted it for his museum. These pictures are treasures.

Spirit bear does not know much about bottles. A lot of these were formed a lot like a cradle and the lip was also twisted up. They lied down on their back.

Thank you Phil..I appreciate your expertise. I am currently on a dig myself. I live in Kentucky on a pretty famous hill where the McClure family was defeated and scalped by Indians... The family that survived the masacaar lived here for centuries...even today the ancestors are my neibors.
25 yards behind my home we found the old burn pile (probably one of many) and we have begun the dig.. So far I'm just hitting the surface and I have bottles from 1930's-60's..
I will post them as we go.

I kove your story and wish I could have gone on more digs. I stopped collecting after my secret dump was visited by other collectors !~

I know more about antique bottles than Phil. Etiquette too, apparently.
A turtle nurser looks like a flask on one side and a normal rounded portion on the other. In the photo it appears both sides are flat. This, it is a normal flask that's being reused.
I would suggest that Phil be a bit nicer.

much of the same to spirit bear who knew nothing about the bottle in the boys hand. So much for him knowing more than me.
