I have 11 pcs of flatware marked solid silver Peru. Is this actual solid silver? I have seen sales of this, but don't quite understand this term unlike marks that say Sterling or a number like ,925, Need some enlightenment on this term.

Apparently 950, I read this : " In Peru we mostly use silver 950 and not the more common sterling silver 925. The 950 silver is more white and shiny. "
I once owned forks of the same shape.
