Beautiful old Buck Saw! Some call them buck, some bow, and others buck-bow saws.
I have a couple in my collection, but not a Winchester as yours. They use turn up in my area every now and then, but i have not seen one for sale in recent years. Nice Find!

Certainly a buck saw and would have been an expensive one. Most didn't have the turnbuckle at the top to tension them properly. Totally different design than a bow saw but city people use both names. I've cut a good many cord with both. The bow is made for smaller logs and limbs where the buck will cut a much larger logs.
