My dad was an AC & refrigeration teacher and acquired this somehow. He passed away 5 years ago and left it to me. I had no idea he even had it. It’s not working at the moment but a former student of his said it could be fixed. All original parts are there. I can’t find any info about this one. The model number is CP 200. I’ve found info on CP 300, but not this one. Anyone know anything about this? I know it was Polar Chips Mfg Co.

Very nice ! I have not seen this model before but we have a few coca cola experts that should come along and be able to help I hope :-) Oh I would go to edit and move your 2nd or 3rd photo to first spot so on preview people know it is a coca cola machine and not pass it up .You can just drag the photo to number 1 spot :-)

Dose not look to be a vending machine . Looks more like a counter top peace used in a resturant . Coca cola logo my have been added ? Get it working and use it again . Have fun with it .

      Thanks, @Manikin, I switched them.
@purvis, I’m positive it’s not a vending. It’s like an icebox, you put ice in it and and it keeps it frozen. Kinda like a cooler, in a way...I think. I don’t believe it makes the ice, I think it just keeps it. My dad did own a bunch of ice makers, that’s why I’m not a hundred percent sure. I never thought about the logo added on, but it doesn’t seem to have been. I do know the Polar Chips Mfg Co did make a Coca Cola cooler similar to this, with a model number CP300. And that is absolutely all I know about it.

I agree, it looks like an ice bin/machine that'd have been used in a restaurant or bar. That the 'ice door' is so small (compared to the entire top size of the machine) makes me wonder if there isn't actually icemaking equipment inside the LH side of it...how large is the 'bin' itself presumably under the top door, and/or does it appear to have someplace on the back where a water line would be attached to it?? (in addition to no doubt having a 'drain' line fitting of some sort too)

What an interesting thing -- I too am looking fwd to what our Coca-Cola Machine Experts have to say!! (as I'm only guessing...)

I honestly don’t know if it has water lines. I can’t tell. It does appear to have a drain line. There is a line that run out the bottom, like a pipe. I posted a picture of the inside above. The ice section is smaller, but I don’t know if the rest is for the refrigeration (as in keepin it cold) parts or ice making parts. Sadly, my dad would have known all about this, but I didn’t find out he had it until after he passed away.

Once more CDent -- this is pure unadaulterated SWAG (Scientific Wild-A** Guess) but if this is the link to the CP-300 you found:
      http://soda-machines.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=776&Itemid=20
I would have to think your machine is, like the -300, an icemaker which is/was also fitted to be used as part of a 'fountain drink' system. Thanks for adding the extra pic -- none of the mechanics seen there appear to be its cooling compressor assembly, but could be parts of an icemaking machine, or the plumbing for the fountain syrup dispensing stuff...??

An interesting puzzle -- and fun item -- anyways about it! :-) :-) :-)

Well...I think some of the parts in there are “extra parts” that may not belong to it. So it’s not a reliable picture. However, I was told that all of the original parts needed were there. They may not work, but they are there. And yes, that was the link to the CP300 I found. Mine however, does not have any evidence that it ever had the fountain drink part to it. There is no place for it or even holes where it would have been mounted. The only missing part to this, is the “Polar Chips” logo that was on the top left corner on the front. I’m thinking the CP300 was the newer and improved version of this one? I really don’t know and I’m excited for your guys’ interest and comments so far and hoping someone will come along and tell me more! I would give anything to be able to ask my dad!!
