I bought this ring in a small city not far from San Antonio. It is going to be a present for one of my daughters who shares my love for this kind of jewelry. The ring is unmarked but it is definitely sterling silver and vintage.

    Thanks for looking:)

Mary, yes we went to Gruene and enjoyed a nice cold beer in an old hall and listened to the best band I listened to in a few years. We also went to Fredericksburg. The weather was great but the town was too touristy for my taste. We stayed mostly in and around San Antonio. This ring and the cuff I bought in New Braunfels. We had a great time and were really surprised about the Texan hospitality!

Hi there...it's been a minute since I've seen you! This is a great ring. I don't know if it's reflection or not but if that's residue from silver cleaner, the best way to remove it is with a toothpick. It's a little time consuming but it needs to be removed as it will ruin the ring over time. A toothpick will not scratch it either. You could wet it and use a soft toothbrush first if you like. I wonder if this might be from the Morenci mine. I get confused as there really is a lot of mixed messages about it on the net. It's a great ring though and agreed...it's an oldie! Did you know the Mexicans taught the Native Americans Silversmithing?!
