I found a cute doggie today. This sweet dog is signed on foot Ardalt Campione from Italy. I did not see much info online about this marking, but did find another listing on CW for a bulldog with this marking. Anyway, this is a huge ceramic piece as you can see in pic with water bottle. I think it dates from 50-60’s. Thanks for looking

      What a cutie!
I think this has been made by Campione Ceramics Italy, correctly known as Ceramiche Campione Italia, and was imported by the large distributor Ardalt in the US.
Campione were renowned for their dog studies, and although the company is still in production I am not sure if they still do dogs. I think you will find this pup is worth lots more than you probably paid!

Racer, thanks for the info. The man that I bought it from said he used to do EBay and said he had bought this for $250. He said he had interest in this piece in Italy but would not ship overseas. He had $30 when I walked up and let me have it for $25. This was same sale that I got glass vase from
