I KNOW THIS IS A VERY EARLY LANCE JAR, BUT JUST HOW OLD, I'M NOT SURE. THE GRAPHICS WERE HAND STENCILED, IN OTHER WORDS, THE STENCIL WAS MADE AND FASTENED TO JAR AND THE PAINT WAS APPLIED BY HAND. THE TOP IS ALUMINUM AND NEAT THE WAY IT IS HELD TOGETHER AS SHOWN IN PICTURE 3. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION PLEASE LET ME KNOW AT PEPSIGUY49@AOL.COM, THANKS!

Insist on Lance's jar, commonly referred to as the "BASKET BALL" jar, came in this size and one a size smaller, this size rare, and the smaller near impossible to find. Used from around mid 1920's to later 1930's Great jar, and fantastic piece of Lance Packing Company History, anyone on be proud to own!
