      Oh, my. What model year is that one? The first car I ever had my own set of keys to was my Mom's one of those (in dark blue paint) way back when...whadda complete and total POS it was...having roughly 70K miles on it at the time [~30K beyond their usual lifespan historically, I believe?] though the damned thing still usually kept going if you filled the oil/coolant more than the gas. [as GM certainly hadn't yet figured out how to deal with aluminum engine blocks...] They also loved to "overheat" -- but the hoods hinged from the front, so when the red light on the dash came on (30mins into any odd road trip) you could reach down and pull its unlatch lever, so its back edge would just pop up a few inches in front of the windshield, allowing more airflow thru the engine compartment so you could finish getting to wherever you were going... <LOL>
