Can anyone help me identify this beauty? Here's what I know:
--- I believe that it's from the 1940s, or possibly early 1950s, from the skip-tooth sprocket.
--- I can't locate a serial number, but I think the bike has been painted over so the serial number may be obscured.
--- It's not a Schwinn. All Schwinn tandem bikes were without curves.
--- It may be a Hawthorne, because cruiser-style bikes from that era used the same style skip tooth sprocket.
--- The curves are similar to a Colton, but I don't know if Colton made a front-steer only tandem bicycle.
--- The rear seat post is solid steel. Solid.
--- Seats are NOT original to the bike.
--- The bike has fenders, not shown.
--- It's for sale if the price is right.
Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated!
