This is another example of a Phänomen Genre identified by way of a lamp shade. The paper pattern for PN II-6290 has the decor depicted on the right bottom side. The production notes provide the description of "Silber rand der Dekorblätter", or silver around the rim of the decor leaves. The ground of this shade is elfenbein, or ivory, which is different than opal by its opacity (elfenbein is more opaque) and its reactivity under black light (opal does not). This piece is similar to PN II-6290 in shape, but is smaller.
Beautiful!!
Totally ........ EYE CANDY !!!
Fantastic! I am so glad to see an identified Loetz version of all those Tiffany/Quezal/Steuben pulled feather shades. It often seems that sellers just lump them all into one group and unless they are marked you wonder what you are really looking at!
fabilus warren my friend hope you use the super shade !!!!!!!!
