I just found this rather crude textile with a painting of what appears to be the Virgin Mary holding Baby Jesus. The art is painted on an coarse homemade cotton weave. It's a little different artistic approach in that the baby is wrapped in a big cloth that flows into her robe.
Approx 40 in X 25 inches
I don't know a thing about its age or artist so I don't know what to make of it.
