    (898 items)

This is a mere three inches tall. It is moulded with three 'fins', three feet and a surface which is a riot of raised dots, ribs and scroll patterns. So much detail yet most is lost in the streaks of the glass.

I know nothing about this type of glass......I was really buying the the other item in the lot. Nor do I know its country of origin.

    Height 8cm./3 inches

I think most likely English...could be Sowerby. MALKEY knows Northern pressed glass very well, so perhaps he can ID it more comprehensively...

I think you are most likely right on English, but what do I know lol

LOL! The colonies are well - stocked with English pressed glass...a fair bit has passed through my hands. Davidson another possibility...most Sowerby has a mark but not always...their glass was particularly detailed, small masterpieces of mould - making.

That was my first thought......congratulate the mould maker! Three part mould with hair lines down the middle of the 'fins'.
