Hi guys, picked up this saw at an estate sale last year and my wife almost threw it in our rummage sale this weekend. Thought I should clean it up a bit and try to find out what it was. Turns out to be a Monhagen etched VERNON & CO. I cannot find any other pics or date information on this saw online. Does anybody know about the time frame of this one? I'm thinking late 1800's.
Welcome to CW!
I couldn't find anything either.
Took a while to look through the web site below - it's rather long.

Thanks Gillian, definitely a neat saw. Once I have a little extra time I plan on cleaning the blade up better to get a nicer look at the etching. I cleaned just enough to identify it but it looks to span about 8 inches into more rust. Thanks for the welcome!
