The 1 1-2" kitty w/ ball brooch has a white rhinestone body, blue eye, jet collar & ruby red ball on goldtone, from Eisenberg Ice ca. 1970s. I thought it compatible with the frosted, clear-accented 6 3-4"H glass kitten paperweight from Viking Glass, whose seated haunch also appears to be a ball, heavy glass done in Crystal Satin, item #7957 ca late 70s-early 80s, with orig label on flat back side

Wow! That brooch is breathtaking! One can just tell the quality! I love the pose and the interplay of the stones’ different sizes and colors! A treasure for certain! The glass kitten is adorable. I love the Crystal Satin look.
I'm really glad to hear you liked both cats, I agree the brooch is really cute. The glass cat unfortunately is uncolored so it was very hard for me to define its cute facial features, then Viking had to make it harder by making his nose & ears clear glass, so a hard subject! Thanx for the great comment

My favorite is the glass kitty too (as lovely as the brooch is) since I could rather easily find her (I'm feeling...looks like a little 'her' to me anyways?) a spot to sit in a sunny windowsill or someplace, but people would probably think I was weird (-er than they already think I am, anyway?) if I started wearing rhinestone brooches...there are no doubt places in the world where that wouldn't bring a second glance, but 'the South' USA is not particularly one of those places...

Glad you enjoyed the kitty cats Judy, I know you prefer dogs (in life that is, don't know about unreal ones!), and I have to say I grew up with dogs in my own & other relative's families, but when my husband & I were first married one of our landlords left town and asked us to feed a litter of four feral outdoor kittens til he got back, and when they are baby animals you just fall in love, so now I'm more of a wide range animal lover & try to love 'em all lol
