    This black on black Indian pot was my find of day at one of our local estate sales.It is 9 x 8 inches and is signed on bottom Marie. I took it to The Two Feathers Gallery downtown was told that it dates to the 1920s and quite valuable.

      Given the black on black pottery style of southern Mexico, everything you said may well be true but its origin may be Mexican. Gorgeous, no matter where it came from!
