Large splatter bowl

This large splatter bowl is 10 1/2" in diameter and 5 1/2" height! It is predominantly orange with an array of colors of splatter and a nice black applied rim. It is signed on the bottom with a ground pontil mark. It has 16 panels .....alternated a 2 1/2" triangular piece and 1 1/2" triangular piece. I do not know the maker??????? Do you suppose it was a serving bowl?????
