This is my fourth Welz candle lamp in this style. It's the third I've put together by buying either pedestal or bowl then waiting for it's 'other half' to turn up. With the Welz décors commonly found in the UK it's worth doing and I do have some 'wallflowers' waiting for a partner!
Image four shows today's pair with the pedestal upside down. That was how I found it pictured on ebay, but listed as a candlestick! So if ever you see a pedestal (whichever way up) in the same colour as the solitory bowl please let me know! The blue/turquoise bowl is a rare décor for this period so my chances are not good :)
Height 19 cm/7.5 inches
LOVE these!

Thanks, scott. You find complete ones so rarely.......
I love their multifunctionality.I don't know if it was intentional but it is funny .
I think it is simply that people find them, have no experience of night lights, candle lamps, fairy lamps or life lights, and simply guess what they are.
SO bloody inventive and pragmatic those Welzy people!
Using moulds upside down to create new shapes from existing moulds, as Welz did, may well be the epitome of pragmatism. Karen.
