My first thought was Welz The clear glass handles ornamented like the handles of Welz's trophy vases and oxblood colour seemed to point directly to Welz Also Sklo posted some time ago a pair of heart vases in the same decor and the ground colour .However, she also noticed that in some point (rigaree) her vases were atypical. Then I came across a discussion in the Internet about the same vase .It was from CW from 7 years before and there was said it was Ruckl ,because it had a Ruckl sticker.I put the link to the discussion below.
I'd love to know your opinions about this id.

This is Welz production, as is the one in the link. This shape is found in at least a couple of other decors which can be linked several ways to Welz, and not Ruckl.

The one in the link does not have a Ruckl sticker on it. It was said to be by Ruckl because the decor is similar to a vase with a Ruckl sticker, which is a completely different form.

My pleasure... Great vase... The shape is not all that common.

I'd go with welz as well.

There were a lot of ruckl identifications posted on here several years ago. There was no supportable evidence to the attributions. Others then based identifications on the initial attributions and the "snow ball" began...

      It's simply and outstanding piece!

This decor is an exact match to the vase shape labeled Ruckl. I currently own both shapes and can confirm for you that the decors, the glass layering, and the rim finishing treatments are each an exact match.

Fortunately this shape is also seen in other decors whose origins can be solidly linked to Welz,

Just about every claim of Rückl attribution you have ever made in CW, regarding this style and period of glass, has stemmed from that single piece with a label.

Sorry Charlie, but it appears that your "opinion" may carry little to no weight. There is a vast body of quite supportable work which severely impugns your credibility on the subject.

Thanks, scott for your input.I had a similar feeling about posts from several years before. We are still completing our knowledge about Bohemian glass and have more samples which help with .

Yes, this vase shape and the vase shape labeled Ruckl are each found in the same red lined oxblood and white spatter décor shown above as well as other decors. Each of those decors, the vase shape above, and the vase shape labeled Ruckl can be solidly linked to Welz, but only when the documentation that doesn't result in a Welz attribution is ignored or manipulated.

"Each of those decors, the vase shape above, and the vase shape labeled Ruckl can be solidly linked to Welz, but only when the documentation that doesn't result in a Welz attribution is ignored or manipulated."

The Rückl "documentation" of which you speak..... The stuff that has to be ignored to arrive at a Welz attribution.......... Surely it must be more than a singular label on the bottom of a single vase, because beyond that you have never produced anything whatsoever??
