One of today's thrift shop finds, a newer Imperial Glass crimped footed bowl, 3" h x 4 7/8" diameter at top. Made between 1951 and 1972. I've only seen these in purple carnival glass, never an opalescent or iridescent finish. Couldn't leave it to an uncertain fate.

Imperial Glass introduced this #473 pattern c1914. In their Bargain book collection of catalog pages the pattern is shown with the name 'Niagara'; collectors use the names of 'Imperial Grape' and 'Heavy Grape' most often for #473. DDoty shows the dates for this white carnival finish reissue c1974-76.

Redoing some images from long ago and see that I did not know to thank my CW friends for their comments and loves of my posted items. Again apologies!

Thanks for loving my Imperial small footed bowl!
