I bought this Gas Street Lantern for 30 bucks last month. I have not found much about this except most lanterns after 1880 had mantles. This one has 3 open flame type orfices. The overall height is about 36 inches. The main frame and top are copper, the post adapter is steel. The bird on top looks like an aluminum eagle. I was wondering if this is US made, approx age, and what the post may have looked like. I may have this in the wrong catagory.
