I got this recently at an estate sale. It was cheap And unique so I thought it would be a fun mystery piece to try to figure out what it was. It is hand carved and has a brass wire woven around the top of it. There is a carved out hole through the middle of this item it looks as if it is the same diameter hole throughout. There is also a raised carved out hole at the top that looks like a strap/rope was put through it for carrying purposes. It is 12 1/2 inches long by 3 inches wide (widest area) and weighs 14 oz. the estate sale had lots of oriential items so it could be related to Chinese or Japanese culture. Any help would be great on this mystery piece!!! Thank you!!!!
