I went on an op shop excursion yesterday, & had some excellent finds. Two pieces of Victorian glass!
This was the one I spotted first - a so - called "bride's bank", or crown shaped vase with an integral flower holder.
It is made from clear glass, with loops in green & clear, & measures around 12 cm tall, 12 cm across the top, & 7 cm across the base, which has a rough, snapped pontil mark.
I used to own one of these, much smaller & plainer, but sold it. Nice to get another in a larger, more elaborate form.
They seem to get attributed to Kralik.

They were once routinely attributed to Kralik, but possibly they were made by others too. If the glass below the applied top can be identified as Kralik then you can be sure. I have two, but they're packed away at the moment (in advance of moving), so I'll have to wait to find out! I'd no sooner bought one than I found a much nicer one lol

Many thanks, sklo42...yes, I wasn't 100% certain about the Kralik attribution on these vases, there seems to be a lot of variations in them. I don't envy the amount of packing you have to do for your collection! I dare say I shall be facing the same issue myself in the future, & even though the idea of living somewhere different is appealing, the thought of packing all my glass is not such an exciting prospect!

      I found one, too, recently: https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/247401-rose-bowl-brides-bank-with-flower-frog?in=user :)
I think I said it before: I love your glass!

Thanks so much, freiheit - your vase is great & yet another variation on this form...so many different ones to be found! And so glad that you're enjoying my glass - I love collecting it, & sharing it makes it even better!
