    This is 2-handled and they are wooden. What is it used for? The teeth are evenly spaced and the cutting part appears to be for cutting gyproc.

      This is an early version of an adjustable-length blade, or sliding blade, knife. The blade pulls out and locks on one of 5 positions allowing the selection of the right length blade for any job..
