Felt very fortunate to find this icebox in my favorite picking spot a couple years ago. It is in excellent overall condition with the usual wear on the lid. The bottle cap catcher was missing but I managed to find a reproduction online. There’s a little surface rust on the front stretcher but not severe. The original label is still inside the lid giving directions to the storekeeper regarding handling new ice each morning “when the ice man comes”. Love that archaic element.
