This is a 1970 Westclox car clock that has a magnetic base that is to be placed on the dash.
The sticker pad on the bottom of the base needs to be removed in order for the magnet part of the base to be exposed before using.

Love it, Westclox had a lot of innovative and fun items.
Nobody wears a watch in the Islands, but I keep a $13 watch on my handlebars to help me avoid bridge openings. When somebody asks for the time, we give them the day of the week. LOL
