Hot Wheels Wednesday Evil Wevil VW 1971

The Evil Weevil was part of the Spoilers line but a bit of an outcast like the Sugar Caddy. The other cars were all vastly similar just take my word for it.
This vehicle was based on the Custom VW which is about 75% of this vehicle. An engine was added on the back and rear extended a bit to hold a big block V8. No such car ever existed so far as I know. Even the original version would have been a mock up body on a different chassis. As a grown up I like the original better but as a kid I would take this one. Can't go wrong with a pair of blown V8s.
As a free bonus the sun roof opens and closes.
These and other Hot Wheels cars are more valuable without the sponsor decals but I like them.
