This is one of my most prized signs, a circa 1943 Coca-Cola cardboard with a beautiful young girl and a GI on a bicycle. It is themed “For the Party”. The cardboard is in good condition given its age, but has some drying and cracking along one edge. It is still held in its original Kay Advertising frame which retains the pressed tin Coca-Cola badge along the bottom rail. The WWII era signs are my particular preference. I’m very proud to be the caretaker of this wonderful piece from one of the most pivotal times in our history. Coca-Cola beautifully incorporated patriotic military imagery in many pieces from the era.
Very nice coke piece . Any one would be happy to own it . Your right the history just makes it’s that much more collectible .
Well I guess thing do go better with coke ...smiling
Thank y’all!
