Not original fabric. I assumed they got it when wed in 1935 but Granpa may have already had in his large home.

It looks more 20's to 1940's period. These tacks used in recovering were a very bad idea. I like to look at these couches in the old Sears catalogs and more particular the Timothy Eaton Catalogs in Canada. In hollywood the old stars had a lot of spanish colonial style which this one resembles.
