Hi CW Gang:
Nice vintage multi-color spatter vase with a ruffled rim. The base does show wear, and there are also some fine small gold sparkles in it. About 9.25 inches tall. Bohemian or Chinese.........( or Fenton )? I thought maybe bohemian as Chinese glass doesn't have little sparkles in it, but that was just a thought. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks for LOOKING // LOVING !!

Definitely! And most likely of Bohemian origin. Chinese glass with spatter is much later (eg mid 20th C onwards) & they never used colour combinations like this - more likely brighter, clashing primary colours. The style of spatter also reminds me a little of some Victorian glass by the French maker, Legras.
Very beautiful !~
That is BEAUTIFUL Rose!!!!
It looks like 1898 Legras to me. Here's an original color catalog page for comparison.

Yes, I agree that it Legras. They are so often mis-identified as being Bohemian (or Murano!) I have a similar decor posted here in an egg shape. They made SO many great shapes, in so many different spatter combinations. Great vase, antiqueros! :)
Wow Rose, imagine that! So beautiful, so old. It's a great vase, and now fully Ided!
Thanks everyone for the loves and the comments - I will reply to all those later, but I have to tell you a funny story on this. Sally Ann ( SA ) has a month long silent auction that ends on the last wednesday of the month. I had not been there are month and ran over there at 8 pm on the last wednesday of the month. They close at 9 pm. Looked at stuff there, some clocks and things were up to $ 100 for bids and low and behold this vase had NO BIDS on it at 6 pm that day. Since it was now 8 pm, I figured there MUST be a bid on it as sometimes people just bid cheap bids on the last night to get things low. So I was going to put a bid in of $ 5 then I thought, I better GO UP TO $ 5.50 just in case as if anyone did bid on it, they too might just go to $ 5 so I best go up another .50cents ( LOL ). So I put that in.
I also happen to notice that usually they have a starting bid price next to the item and the item number. This had an item number ( # 54 ) but there was no starting bid on it. So I also marked that down on my piece of paper with the bid on it, that there was no starting bid. [ What would happen if the store starting bid was $ 5.99 and I bid lower - if the employee forgot to mark the staring bid on the paper ].
Anyhow it was about 8:30 pm as I just looked around some more at some display thing in another case. The manager happened to be near me so I just asked her what would happen if I put in a bid that might be lower that a starting bid - but the employee forgot to list it. The store manager asked what did I mean. I told her that the pink vase ( # 54 ) had no starting bid on the paper. She said OH MY GOD, and asked if I had bid on it. I said yes. So she said there was no bids on it at 6 pm, but she best go check ( before the auction was over at 9 ) in case my bid was lower -- or if someone else had bid on it, to at least let me know THERE could be another bid on it and to make it fair to me, since I was the one that pointed out there was no starting bid. She checked .....and guess what.......No other bids. So we were pretty sure it was mine at $ 5.50. I was happy but still could not pick up till the next day....and it is only then you get to see it up close as you bid on items in an enclosed glass case. Know nothing about LEGRAS glass, so very happy I got this piece as I thought it might be Bohemian.....and so old !!! WOW
***** Funny thing about this story is that Bohemian Pink Vase I got from the same place had no bids on it at all either and I got for $ 10.50
