This is an another buy from todays flea market... and I noticed something weird just a few minutes ago. Bet the previous owner didnt notice it, as the seller didnt say a thing!
Silver earrings, probably with turquoise. The stones fell out so I will have to re-glue them back later. They are marked on 2 places, but no 925 in sight. I would say something from Asia? I paid 5 EURs for the earrings.
Now to the interesting part, when I checked them a few minutes ago, I noticed that there are weird hinges on the front side. I tried it and..yep, there is a hidden space inside. Now I have seen it all! I would understand poison ring, but poison EARRINGS? :D
Have you seen anything like this? Is this maybe a place for religious texts or maybe some tiny amulet, or (wink wink) space for some interesting smuggling?
